She was took a few more moments to look out the window then finally turned back toward him. It was obvious she was upset. She had thought she knew him. Danny had been everything to her. He was what was keeping her together in this afterlife or whatever you wanted to call it. She looked back down at the ground not really wanting to make eye contact. Finally, she spoke. “He did it. Danny, he.. he.. killed me.”
Aidan’s eyes widened considerably at her words, causing him to take a step back. This wasn’t his Sally. Well, it was his Sally but she wasn’t from his time stream. She was a few months back, going through something Aidan had already dealt with. Really, he was lost. Being alive for so long made him feel like he had seen everything but this… this was just bizarre. “I’m sorry, Sally.” He said, voice low as he moved closer to the ghost, face a mask of sadness. He remembered this vividly, the way he wanted to rip Danny’s heart from his chest for hurting his girl.
